| Welcome to ISES MELBOURNE It has been a fantastic twelve months at ISES Melbourne Chapter and my role as President has been an enjoyable one. We have welcomed new members to the Executive Committee with expertise in the events, legal, communications and management fields.Our events have been well attended and supported by our loyal members. Attendances are increasing and our last event at Crown Metropol was sold out with a waiting list. The website is now a great marketing tool for members to promote your business to prospective clients. It would be great to see members embrace the opportunities available by using the website more. Update your profile, attach your logo and clients worldwide can contact you. We can now also offer members free job postings, instantaneously reaching prospective employees in a matter of minutes. Our database has tripled over the past year, so please send in any articles you may want to place in the newsletter and we can send it out via the database. I am very excited about the year ahead and look forward to progressing the status of the ISES brand. Over the next twelve months we shall be concentrating on increasing membership, ensuring events are more profitable, updating the Chapter By-laws, undertaking a strategic planning meeting and hopefully being in a financially viable position to be able to present members with increased benefits such as a free event. I am sure it will be another enjoyable and challenging year ahead and I hope that as many members as possible will continue to enjoy their membership. Regards, |
