The 2008 IFSA (Int. Financial Services Association) Conference held on the Gold Coast in took on new heights with the conference theme being, Innovate 08. Staging Dimensions with over two decades in the business of stage and set design and construction was contracted by Carrillion Conference Management to design, build and stage the association’s welcome party, gala dinner and conference set NEEDS.
The conference stage design was framed by a giant floor to ceiling backdrop of blue sky and clouds and imposing cut-outs of aeroplanes engulfed the convention centre ceiling. Conrad Jupiters poolside created the perfect backdrop enhanced with lighting for the welcome party and the Annual Conference Dinner held in the GCCEC hall featured three giant chandeliers and glowing tables.
